Eclipses are maybe the most spectacular astronomical event, an I've many pictures of the last years.
Eclipses are also very important for chronology; it's possible to calculate with great precision the time of ancient eclipses.
My little perpetual calendar of the day calculates time of eclipses and may be used for these matters.
